Another round.

Our travels have ended. Back from Boston, back from Georgia. Had just enough to breathe before classes resumed in full swing on Monday. I'm sure many have heard me complain (already) about how I ended up taking Applied Calculus and Trigonometry at the same time... but holy hell Batman... I was not prepared for feeling like I left a 4000 level French class when I had actually left my Calc class early Tuesday morning. I was able to pull myself together that yucky, rainy morning and drive to Tarpon from Clearwater campus to begin the rest of my day. Day 2 of classes, I spent 3 hours doing homework in the library.
*Side note - Now, I like to go the library at the end of my lecture/lab days so I can do my homework and study before I go home. I like doing this because of the peace and quiet and uninterupted time I get to focus. Since when did the library become the social rendezvous point?? There are no "study cubicles" or actual quiet places at all in this particular library... which even the sign that reads "Quiet Study" seems to be scoffed at daily. I do believe I am beginning to like Clearwater campus (at least for their quiet study spot) a bit more than I used to...
Unpause! My days are already running into each other and I already feel behind in what I need to get done this semester. My schedule is as follows:
Monday - 11:00 - 12:15 Chem I 12:30 - 1:45 Trig Both in TS
Tuesday - 9:30 - 10:45 Calc in CLwtr 12:30 - 1:45 Bio I in TS
Wednesday - 11:00 - 12:15 Chem I 12:30 - 1:45 Trig 2:00 - 4:40 Chem I Lab
Thursday - 9:30 - 10:45 Calc in Clrwtr 12:30 - 1:45 Bio I in TS 2:00 - 4:40 Bio I Lab
Fridays I have graciously left open to play catch up if need be...
Well, Baby Girl is sleeping, Mommy's tired, and my chat screen is empty. Good night.

Why Georgia.

On the road again! Skylar is the most well-traveled baby I think I may have ever met... Since she's been born she's been to Georgia 4 times, Boston twice, and Orlando once. Of course, this travel doesn't include the countless hours traveling shorter distances to include the entire Tampa Bay area. We are leaving for Georgia in the morning and I am so excited that I get to see my best friend of 22 years 2x in the same month! It couldn't come at a better time either; she just had some day surgery and needs some help around the house, and it is my last week of my "summer vacation". While I am not looking forward to the 8 hour drive to her door step, I at least am armed with a portable DVD player (one her Daddy got her for her birthday) to make my life easier. I must leave the bf behind for another week, but it's all for a good cause! Life is wonderful and I am glad to be an active participant in mine!

Check.

Just wanted to check in with nothing to report. Skylar's molars are coming in and our nights together are increasingly painful. Since we share our space, I have to move to the couch now just to let her cry it out. Today is panning out to be a nothing-special kind of day. My baby is napping, I'm updating you on nothing, I have a hair appointment later this evening with a date to follow. 2 more days until our trip to Monroe. Life is good.

Home. For now.

After a week in Boston, Skylar and I flew home yesterday afternoon to the hot and humid land known as Florida. We spent our week at the Red Jacket Inn on Cape Cod, back at the house in the city, and a few places in between. I got a chance to meet lots of new faces, as did my Cookie. She was showered with hugs, love, and kisses up until the moment we got on the plane. Skylar is a good little traveler. I love that she's my daughter. We get a full 4 days to recover, and we'll be off to Monroe, GA for some more Price love for another 5 days. We will return just in time for me to start school 2 days later. What a summer break.
